The Role

As an Integrations Specialist, you’ll be responsible for designing, building, and maintaining integrations between Kenai and enterprise security platforms such as Gallagher Command Centre, Idemia VisionPass, Axis, and other access control systems. You’ll work closely with customers and partners to map requirements, configure integration flows, and deploy solutions that keep enterprises secure and compliant.

What You’ll Do

  • Develop and maintain integrations with access control, identity, and video management systems.
  • Design APIs and SDK-based solutions, ensuring security and reliability.
  • Work directly with enterprise clients to understand requirements and configure system integrations.
  • Collaborate with platform engineers to ensure integrations scale across thousands of sites.
  • Document integration flows and contribute to Kenai’s knowledge base.
  • Support deployments and troubleshooting, ensuring smooth go-lives.

Requirements

  • Strong experience with APIs, SDKs, and system-to-system integrations.
  • Familiarity with AWS services and microservice-based architectures.
  • Exposure to access control, identity management, or physical security systems (Gallagher, Idemia, Suprema, Axis, Milestone, Lenel, etc.) is a strong plus.
  • Experience with TypeScript/Node.js preferred, or other backend languages.
  • Strong problem-solving and client-facing communication skills.

Nice to Have

  • Knowledge of event-driven architectures (queues, streams, webhooks).
  • Experience with compliance and audit logging requirements.
  • Previous enterprise SaaS or system integrator experience.
